Die Cuttin' Divas Ribbons or Bows Challenge

I can hardly believe that it is March tomorrow! Do you know in a couple weeks we are back to daylight savings time again?

So looking forward to Spring this year. Bring it on!

It is Tuesday again and time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas.

This week our challenge is "Ribbons or Bows".

.

For my project I decided to create little bags to hold a treat in them for my granddaughters class for St. Patricks Day.

I chose a cut file from Silhouette called Shamrock Bag which you can purchase here.

I made 35 of these little bags!

I filled them with, you guessed it, foil covered chocolate coins. Perfect candy treat for St. Patricks Day, right?

Supplies used: Card stock - 2 shades of green; pattern paper from the Emerald collection by Authentique: cut file from the Silhouette Store

Die Cuttin' Divas Pink/Red or Purple Challenge

I spent yesterday baking away for Valentines Day!

I made sugar cookies, peanut blossoms (I used red sugar and milk chocolate hearts instead of Kisses), and Blondies with valentine M & M's.

I plan on sharing some with my neighbors and my grandchildren are coming over so I thought they would enjoy them too!

Since it is Tuesday, it's time for a new challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas.

This week for our challenge you must create something with pink/red or purple.

I created a card that I will be giving my parents using a cut file by Lori Whitlock called LOVE BIRDS STEP BOX CARD which I purchased from the Silhouette Store

I also used an "I Love You" die cut by Lawn Fawn for the banner.

Supplies used: Card stock - white, black, 2 shades of pink, red, orange; pattern paper by Authentique; cut file from the Silhouette Store; sentiment die by Lawn Fawn.

Now on to my creation:

I used the Bendi card cut file from The Cutting Cafe for my card. You can purchase this file here

I also used a cute tree from The Cutting Cafes "Beautiful Trees" printable stamp set which you can purchase here.

I printed it on different color cardstock and then fussy cut the pieces.

The kissing couple is a cut file called first kiss from the Silhouette Store. I cut it out in black and I used the offset tool to create a border to cut out a white background for the couple.

I just received a fun new kit from Queen and Co. called the Heart Throb Kit, which came with some fun dies, darling papers, shaker elements, etc.
